How to delete your account

1. In the Sonacasts app: open Profile and tap Delete account. Your account is deleted straight away.
2. On this page: sign in with the same method you use in the app (Google, Apple or email), then choose what to delete below. This works even if you no longer have the app.
3. By email: write to privacy@sonacasts.comfrom your account's email address. We handle requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account, sign-in details, profile and settings
• Your child profiles and all content made for them, including audio files
• Content you created. Deleting on this page removes all of it, including content you shared. Deleting in the app keeps shared content available to other listeners, without a link to you.
• Listening history, progress, playlists and plan usage
• Family sharing invitations and memberships
• Feedback, story reports and screenshots you sent us

Deleting your account cancels website and Google Play subscriptions. Apple subscriptions must be cancelled in your Apple ID settings.

What we keep, and for how long

• Payment and invoice records, for as long as Finnish accounting law requires (up to 10 years)
• Google Play and Apple keep their own records of your purchases, under their own policies
• Server logs that may contain your data: up to 30 days
• Database recovery copies: up to 7 days
• Crash reports: up to 90 days. Analytics data: up to 14 months
